Overview

Feoh is built with privacy as a default. The developer does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any personal data, card data, or usage information. This policy explains where your data lives and how it is handled.

No Account Required

The App does not require you to create an account and does not collect or store any account information. The developer holds no personal information about you.

Data You Enter

All information you enter into the App — including card numbers, PINs, balances, transaction history, notes, expiry dates, and custom card images — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is held in the App's sandboxed container, is accessible only to the App, and is protected by iOS device encryption. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud Sync or export a backup file.

iCloud Sync

If you choose to enable iCloud Sync, your card data is synchronised across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service via your personal iCloud account. This data is stored in your own private iCloud container — the developer has no access to it and cannot view, retrieve, or modify it. iCloud Sync is optional and can be disabled at any time in Settings. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Backup & Restore

The Backup & Restore feature allows you to export an encrypted backup of your card data to a file of your choosing. Backup files are encrypted using AES-256-GCM with a passphrase you set. The developer never receives, stores, or has access to backup files. You are solely responsible for the security and storage of any backup files you create.

Balance Checking

The App may provide links to third-party retailer websites to assist with checking gift card balances. When you use this feature, your device opens the third-party website in an in-app browser. The App itself does not communicate with any external server or transmit any data on your behalf. Any data exchanged occurs directly between your device and the third-party website, which may use cookies or its own tracking mechanisms. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies.

In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. The developer does not receive, process, or store any payment card information, billing details, or Apple ID information. Purchase entitlements are verified on-device. Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics & Tracking

The App contains no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or any other remote data collection mechanism. The developer does not track your usage of the App, does not collect device identifiers, and does not share any information with third parties.

Face ID / Touch ID

If you enable biometric locking, the App uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework to authenticate you. No biometric data is ever accessed, stored, or transmitted by the App. All authentication is handled entirely by iOS.

Your Data Rights

Because the developer holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. All of your data exists on your own device. To remove it entirely, delete the App — this removes all locally stored data. Data held in your iCloud account is managed through your iCloud account settings.

Data Retention

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from or target children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). As the App collects no personal data, it is suitable for use by all ages.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
